“The Santa Diaries is a funny, touching, popped-culture spin on an old roasting chestnut of a tale – the insufferable heel redeemed by the spirit of Christmas. Ambler and Burt’s toy box story line provides ample opportunity for future productions to play with a range of scenic design, innovative casting opportunities, and a holiday season’s worth of fun.”
Brent Lewis, author of Remembering Kent Island: Stories from the Chesapeake, A History of the Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department, and Bloody Point -
a mystery set in the Chesapeake Bay's Eastern Shore.

This show visits the same characters five years later as Will and Jessica return home for their small-town Christmas wedding. But the plot thickens as Will's ex-fiancee and his manager try to turn the wedding into a reality TV event.

"When I attended The Merlin Players' performance of The Santa Diaries four years ago at the Paradise Center for the Arts, I laughed. And I cried. Playwrights and performers brought a moving message coupled with comedy to the stage. And now they've done it again in A Christmas Wedding  - The Santa Diaries II. The story evolves with humor aplenty, conflict and discerning what's most important in life. Chose Fame and fortune? Or love, happiness and contentment?"

A Christmas Wedding is all about love and family and friends and second chances, remembering what's really important in life, and maybe "embracing the crazy" a little bit along the way. The characters in the show are extremely relatable, and our audiences fell in love with them."  Actor Michael Lambert, who played Will.
